Oh, thank god I'm not in Oklahoma any more x.x
Whee...three hour roadtrip...the drive between Tulsa and Dallas is probably the more boring stretch of road ever. I just got back from a cousin's wedding. I have a really really really big family on my mom's side. Really big hoopla, 240+ people in attendance and more at the reception which was the entire top floor of a 30 floor building. Open bar, loud music, and ~LOTS~ of people (actually only about about twenty-five or so were actually direct relatives of mine.) Naturally, I hated it. I am so incredibly glad to be home.
The hotel where most of the family (not us) was staying was hosting a penicostal convention. Watching people walking around reminded me of an anime convention (only with fewer people running around screaming, and less people wearing very little clothing): people coming in with evidence of costumes in tow, staff at tables to register people, groups of people standing around before it started, talking about something or other that no one who was not attending the convetion could possibly understand without lengthy exposition... and I mean it when I said costumes, btw. Some of the outfits I saw people wearing were...mindboggling. Lots of people wearing bright red from head to tow. And the HATS! o.O;; Just...wow.
And...um...gosh, I really suck at lj posts, so...I guess that's it. Oh, and I beat LoZ: The Minsh Cap. I only had one more form to figure out in the final boss before the trip, so...now I'm trying to get the last of the hearts and kinstones. x.x
