So yesh. I was in a car wreck last tuesday. Nothing major, I was backing out of the alley in front of my house to turn around just as a stupid fucking suv (I'm not biased against them or anything, really...) was driving past, and backed into her fender. My bad, oops. Call insurance, take it to the friendly neighborhood bodyshop, and I have been in a rental car all week. Um...yeah, new expierence, renting a car, which my insurance made it way more complicated than it needed to be, but no biggie.
And today I got my car back! ~yay~! <3
Except that now it has a spot on the driver's side FRONT bumper where the clear coat of the paint is completedly flaked off, and the paint underneath it is starting to rub off. WTF?!? That wasn't there when I took it to the shop. They shouldn't even have TOUCHED that side of the car, since ALL the damage was on the passenger side REAR. Guess I get to call the shop in the morning and find out of that wonderful guarantee they offer applies to damage they caused. If they admit they did it. -_- ...
...I am apparently not allowed to have a pretty car. I take it to be cleaned for the first time since I've HAD the damn thing, have a wreck, and now have DAMAGE I DIDN'T EVEN CAUSE. *sigh*
