Much belated update on my life.

So I obviously suck at using lj as a journal. So here's a quick chronicle of what' been happening lately.

I paid off my old 2000 Honda Civic LX, and was proptly talked into purchasing a new 2007 Honda civic LX by my mother with the allure of side impact airbags. Goodbye Yfandles, hello Kitsune.

I've been drawing on www.drgnden.com 's oekaki again, and realized how much my monitor sucked. Such bad color that a picture of Kairi gave her both red and golden brown hair. >.> So I aquired a new Viewsonic flatsceen. Lovely color and very sharp. <3

My long planned and anticipated purchasing of an ipod happened also that weekend. Yay listening to music in the car, or on my alarmclock (which will both charge and play from my ipod). I need still to get a leather case to protect it, but haven't had the chance, and may not for a while. Because...

...we're spending the month of December doing foundation work, then remodeling to fix cracks and the like. Its all the fun of moving without going anywhere~! *twitch* So I'm STILL not unpacked from my previous remodeling, and won't be for at least a month. I get to sleep on an airmattress in the computer room while my bed in is pieces this time.

And did I mention now I'm poor. Might have something to do with the fact that I keep buying stuff. And am footing part of the bill for remodeling after foundation repair. There's nothing like having money and not being able to spend it. I'm gonna have to watch my finances pretty tightly this holiday season.

Letsee...whatelse. Oh, yes. My bday is coming up, celebration of such is still in the planning stages, but I've informed most of the people coming of the day. (I think.) While I never expect or ask for gifts at these things, some people tend to give them. I'm kinda hoping I'll get socks this year. n_n; Maybe I can drop a hint to the relatives that keep giving me pierced ears earrings every year. >.>;

Hallloween was fun, I did both my Yuan costume, and a thrown together fox costume this year. Not a lot of candy, but good times were had.

Also, I ran into (not litterally) an old teacher of mine whom I adored in jr high/highschool. And apparently, her husband does lighting every year at akon cosplay. Small world. n_n; If Mrs. Hutchinson happens to read this, "Hi~!"

Anything else? Not really. I'm not lookiong to get a PS3 or a Wii, and I'm not playing FF12. That seems to be what everyone else is doing lately. I am over halfway through my 3rd playthrough of Drakengard 2, tho. I'm hoping the 3rd ending will be better than the first two. But this is Drakengard, so I really shouldn't get my hopes up.

But I need to go. I'm baking a pumpkin today. n_n;

I hope your folks give you a fair share of the proceeds if and when they ever sell the house. Foundation repair is not cheap.

And aren't you supposed to wait until after you have your own place to start making long-term investments like giving a crap about the foundation?

Same here... I'll be getting reacquainted with my old PC/GCN games before buying new games systems (besides, the City of Garland wants a new game system first >_< ).... How did the pumpkin come out?

Well, let's see. I was there for parts of that long update. Didn't realize so much of it actually happened over the same weekend, though. I have gotten my Wii and proceeded to drool over it. Now it's old hat, though I find that I can't get enough of Twilight Princess.

Sounds like you've got things going good, though...except for the lack of funds, which I can totally relate too! We are going to have find something cheap and fun for your party. Kirs was thinking about bringing her Wii and getting a group together for games. I know you're not much on the multiplayer thing, but Wii Sports and her Rayman game are actually pretty fun. Still, I'm kind of with you. A group of friends just hanging sounds like the most fun to me. Keep me posted as things develop!
