Yesterday was bad. Very-very-bad. Cried during my lunchbreak bad.

But today was not. Today was...okay. Maybe I don't hate my job after all. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Thanks to hermitIX for cheering me up yesterday. There's something about talking about other stuff that really helps calm ya down. I've been really moody lately. I dunno if it's stress, or messed up blood-sugar, or what...I wish it'd go away.

Has anyone been watching that Searching for Shakesphere thing that's been showing on PBS? I caught the very last part of it, and it was ubber-spiffy. Who knew they were showing intersting things on american television again? o.O

I've been drawing a lot on the computer lately...I think I finally am drawing stuff that isn't completely hideous. I've been working on an update to my elfwood gallery quite a bit too. (my poor, neglected elfwood that is surely going to go the way of...of..of a really neglected thing.) I feel all artsy. n__n

And I've been playing .hack - a lot. >.> I leveled two characters you get after the end of the game from level 5 and 15 to 39 last night, and 39 to 60 tonight. But I accidently did something stupid...making me start over from my last save...and now they're back down to 39 again. :twitch:

And...tomorrow's another day. I wonder if that's a good thing or not...?

PBS is often the lone beacon of decent televisular entertainment - one of the few remaining things that don't cause my brain to either die thru atrophy, or seize up in sheer horror/annoyance. It's the nearest thing you folks have to a BBC (which isn't suprising, since they show many of the same programs). I adore their documentary series, especially ones like the series they ran about New York - saw the ones about immigration & the building of the Empire State and was sat in front of the gogglebox transfixed during them. Sadly, I think I've managed to miss all the Searching for Shakespeare stuff - here's hoping for re-runs...

And I still need to finish .hack #1...

Indeed. Of course, knowing PBS, you can probably buy the tapes, but they'll never re-show it again. ;_; Actually, now that I think about it, I remember that the history channel had a neat series on barbarians not too long ago. The huns are awsome. n__n

.hack doesn't have a great battle system, but...once you memorize the menus, there's something zen about leveling. Either that or mind-numbing. I've logged 150+ hours of play over the course of four games. Each of which could easily be beaten in 20 houurs. But the plot is mostly worth it. n_n;;
