So it's confirmed...
Jan. 27th, 2006 12:56 pm...my grandmom won't be able to live by herself, or in assisted living. Which means she's going to stay in the nursing home. Which means that when her lease runs out tues, we have to have all her stuff out of her apartment, and there's no way she can keep her dog.
FIRST what this means is that we need to move all her stuff Saturday - as in tomorrow. Anyone who could help in this venture would have my never-ending thanks, and free lunch at place of their choosing. n.n;;; This would be early Saturday morning that this would occur, so you'd still have most of the day free.
SECOND. If anyone has alternatives to a kill-shelter for a female dachshund, I'm looking for something to do with her dog that mean the dog lives to have another birthday. Operation Kindness has been suggested, and I'm looking into that, but if anyone knows someone looking for a small dog used to living in a small apartment, please let me know asap? Thanks!
