I don't even have the costume designed yet, but I'm thinking about steampunk weaponry. I'm thinking a gas gun.

The "handle" is this with very little modification other than paint. The backpack will be much harder to find parts for. Any idea where to find a clear plastic tube over a foot in diameter?

For tingirl, here's my idea for the wagon-hat. n_n

Kinda, only more 'I made this from spare parts' and less 'this is a modified super soaker' - nevermind that I'm using a minimally modifed super soaker. The picture looks like the water guns I find the most of. XD;

I'm thinking there's got to be some sort of packaging I could use for the fuel tank...

Oh! I still have that plastic tube the bath scrubby things came in. It's not wide enough for a single tank, but it's long enough I could cut in half for TWO tanks...

Or this (http://www.containerstore.com/shop/kitchen/foodStorage/canisters?productId=10008170&N=74062). I wonder how drillable that plastic is...

I kind of worry they'd shatter. But if they don't, it would be rather good for what you're thinking maybe?

That's my concern too. But it's pretty close to the size I had in mind...I think I might add checking them out to my to-do list this weekend.
