I watched the adressing the union speach, and hate the shrub with a renewed vigor.

It's sad, but I'm really not going to be voting FOR anyone this year...just against.

so should i feel grateful that i just saw something on yahoo that bush was speaking to the country, not knowing of this until i saw the thing on yahoo, and not being able to vote?

Eh, you should probably make an effort to at least know what the people in charge are saying...but seeing as this is the first state of the union address I've caught the whole way through since bush was elected, I really can't comment. *shrugs* He just aggrivates me, since I disagree with...most...of what he says. Which is my constitutional right, gosh-phooey. Mostly he was bragging about stuff he'd done that I disagree with (like war), or promising stuff that won't go into effect until after 4 years anyway.. Or so it seems to me. Goodness knows, I'm not politically astute, and all opinions are merely my own.

There should be an option that if you can't vote, the rules don't apply to you. *sigh*
