i spent the day in hospital waiting rooms while my mom was in surgery for breast cancer. So far, all signs point to it being local & the surgeries went well. she'll be staying overnight, and possibly tomorrow night at the hospital. she's doing pretty good, considering.

things i learned today: strange machines that beep run hospitals. the people there just run around trying to make them stop, or hooking them up to patients. during long surgeries, they hook "foot pumps" up to massage your feet, to incourage circulation. these consist of foot wrap things that are puffed up by air every few seconds. very strange. children are scary, scary things. i heard no less than 7 times today a child declare they were going to kill someone. >.> i think they were talking about the leggos, but i'm not sure.

and typing without using the shift key is almost as fun as getting up at 5am and then spending all day sitting on your butt doing nothing. much thanks to asmaria for the loan of the book, it helped to keep me from throttling small children. ;)

*snugs* Hope all goes well with her recovery. And glad the book helped. But seriously, kids threatening to kill scares you? >_>; Need I remind you just WHO you are playing in your campaign again?? :P

>.> Heh. That's different. Even my most homicidal characters don't say "I kill you, I ~KILL~ you for that!" repeatedly for about a minute. It's creepy to hear, honestly. I guess being worried about my mom might've had something to do with it, but...they really were annoying children. *cough*

ANYway...yesterday I finished the book I'd been reading, your book, and started another. Waiting rooms are possibly the most evil invention ever created by man. But I'm finally getting around to reading books I've been holding on to for months. =^j

Huh. That seems to make me think it's a movie quote. o_O Who knows.

Dang you read fast! c_c

I'm sorry to hear your mom has breast cancer. We went through that a year or so ago... it's really awful. But she's doing much beter now, so there's lots of hope, and if it seems to just be local, that's even better.

*hugs*

since i am slow with stuff...
